Welcome to the Houston Organization of Papillon
Enthusiasts' (HOPE) website! We are a group of Papillon owners,
exhibitors, and breeders in and around Houston. Our mission is to promote the Papillon
breed and to educate our members and the public on the breed and responsible pet ownership.
Brief Intro:
Our club began in 2000 when a small group of Papillon owners decided to have Papillon get-togethers,
termed Butterfly Bashes. Eventually the group grew and became more involved in holding seminars and fun matches.
Today we have over 40 members and are in the process of obtaining AKC accreditation. We meet every month to
discuss the breed and to plan events.
